The Bethany Life Foundation’s purpose is to bring resources to our Communities in meeting our mission of “helping elders thrive, living in a Christian environment of hope and compassion”.

We hope that you will join our efforts any way you can in caring for our elders in need.

Bethany Life Foundation’s Funds

Good Samaritan Fund
The Good Samaritan Fund supports Bethany Life Communities through unrestricted gifts, giving the organization the flexibility to respond quickly to resident and organizational needs. Many donors ask that their gift is given “to where the need is the greatest”. Our Good Samaritan Fund does just that!

Capital Needs Fund
The Capital Needs Fund receives gifts that have been restricted to a specific capital need. In the past this has included the renovation of living areas, the purchase of quality assurance technology hardware and the purchase of vans.

Excellence in Nursing Fund
The Excellence in Nursing Fund receives gifts that are restricted in supporting the nursing department in providing the highest quality of care possible. These funds will support continual education and training for our nursing staff as well as purchasing needed medical equipment.

Chaplaincy for Today Fund
The Chaplaincy for Today Fund receives restricted gifts which support the ongoing costs of the Bethany Life Chaplaincy program. The spiritual care that our residents, tenants, their families and our staff receive is a cornerstone of all we do at
Bethany Life Communities.

“Walking Together in Faith”
Chaplaincy Endowment Fund

The Chaplaincy Endowment Fund is a permanently
restricted fund which gives individuals and families an opportunity to build a legacy of Christian care. Gifts are given primarily through planned and estate gifts, although all gifts are much appreciated and needed. This fund is critically important in assuring that Bethany Life Communities will always have the financial capacity to bring spiritual care to those in their greatest time of need.

Employee Appreciation Fund
The Employee Appreciation Fund receives gifts primarily from grateful family members who recognize the commitment that the Bethany Life staff have in the care they provide for their loved one.
This Fund pays for many of the special parties and events that Bethany Life provides throughout the year in celebrating our staff and their love for the elders in their care.

Eden Fund
The Eden Fund receives gifts that are used to pay for the care and well being of our animal friends who give their unconditional love to our residents and tenants. These funds also help renovate gardens and bring a the sense of home to our residents and tenants.

Wish List
The Foundation maintains an ongoing WISH LIST which donors may review in purchasing specific items.
